Amazon will now ship Kindle internationally! Now I can legitimately buy one and use it here in the Philippines without having to resort to work-arounds and hacks.
This is indeed good news for me. I am almost giving up on my desire to have my own *real* eBook reader when my plan to have a friend buy a Sony Reader in the U.S. didn’t push through.
I already have a sizable eBook collection already organized using Calibre and knowing that Calibre is compatible with the Kindle makes this deal even sweeter.
Now to polish up my credit card and gather up the courage to order one for me.
